Sub-processors
These are the companies that process data on our behalf when you use Timsio.
Most of them never receive anything unless you choose to connect them. We have split the list on that line, because it is the part that actually matters.
We will update this page before adding a new sub-processor.
Always involved
These are part of running Timsio. If you have an account, these companies handle some of your data.
| Company | What they do for us | What reaches them |
|---|---|---|
| Railway | Hosting, application database, cache | Timsio runs on their infrastructure, so your account data is stored and processed there. |
| Cloudflare | Object storage, and DNS + content delivery | Files you upload — receipts, invoice PDFs, support attachments. As our DNS and CDN, the requests your browser makes to us. |
| Zoho | Sending email | The address and contents of email we send: verification, password resets, notifications, and invoices you send to your clients. |
| Paddle | Subscription billing | Your billing contact details and payment information. Paddle is the merchant of record — they take payment details directly, so we never see or store your card. |
| AI features, via Gemini | Only when you use an AI feature. Calendar event titles and times with message bodies and full attendee addresses stripped out; receipt images you scan; questions you ask the support assistant. | |
| New Relic | Performance monitoring | Application performance data and error logs. Not the contents of your time entries, clients or invoices. |
| Amazon Web Services | Encrypted database backups, and background job queues | Backup copies of the database, and jobs waiting to run. |
Only if you connect them
These receive nothing unless you link the integration yourself, and stop receiving anything when you disconnect it.
| Company | What they do for us | What reaches them |
|---|---|---|
| Intuit (QuickBooks Online) | Accounting sync | Invoices and payment records you choose to sync. |
| Xero | Accounting sync | Invoices and payment records you choose to sync. |
| Google (Calendar, Chat) | Reading your calendar and chat to draft timesheets | Event and message metadata — titles, times and participants. |
| Microsoft (Outlook, Teams) | Reading your calendar and chat to draft timesheets | Event and message metadata — titles, times and participants. |
| Zoom | Reading your meetings to draft timesheets | Meeting metadata — titles, times and participants. |
Questions about any of these? Email support@timsio.com and we will answer specifically.
